Cancer Services Program, ConnextCare Pulaski Offer Free Breast Exams

OSWEGO, NY – Carolyn Handville, coordinator of the Cancer Services Program of the North Country, met with certified Mammogram Technologists from Oswego Health at Fulton Medical Imaging in preparation for Women’s Health Day.

On October 27, as part of the Cancer Services Program’s recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, staff of Oswego Health will be providing clinical breast exams and mammograms to uninsured women between the ages of 40 and 64 at ConnextCare Pulaski, 61 Delano St., and the Fulton Health Center, 522 S. Fourth St., Fulton.

Exams will be available by appointment from 8 a.m. to noon.

Walk-ins will be accommodated as able.

OCO’s recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month also includes its annual “Human Pink Ribbon” event.

This year’s “Human Pink Ribbon” will be formed at ConnextCare Pulaski 61 Delano St., beginning at 10 a.m.
