Car-Pedestrian Accident Investigation Reveals Warrant For Driver

FULTON, NY – State Police in Fulton are investigating a car/pedestrian personal injury accident that occurred Feb. 14 at 4:30 p.m. on State Route 104 in the town of Hannibal.

The investigation revealed that a 2002 Ford Taurus, driven by 32-year-old Adrian L. Miller from Watertown, was southbound on 104 when 17-year-old Madeline Mikalsen from Fulton walked into the roadway and was struck by Miller.

Mikalsen was transported to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for minor injuries.

The cause of the accident appears to be pedestrian error.

Miller was taken into custody after troopers discovered he was wanted on a warrant issued by the Geneva Police Department.
