Carlo F. Palmitesso, 77

HANNIBAL, NY – Carlo Palmitesso, 77, of Hannibal, formerly of Oswego, passed away on Sunday October 9, 2016.

Carlo proudly served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1963-1965.

When he returned home, he worked as a boilermaker and painter.

Carlo was an active member in the Hannibal American Legion Post 1552, I.O.O.B. Club #1646, a life member of AMVETS and enjoyed fishing.

He was predeceased by his mother, father and brother.

Carlo is survived by his loving companion of 13 years, Sherry Pelton; sister, Carmella McDougal; daughters, Carla and Tina Palmitesso; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 14, at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
