The Oswego Players recently completed casting for their up-coming production of the family comedy, “Father Knows Best”, adapted for stage by Kirsten Sergel based on a radio play written by Edward James. The show is based on the 1950s television series of the same title.
This Players’ production features a large cast of area actors. These include Jordan Gray, as Father, Pam Richmond, as Mother, Emily Richmond as Betty, Norman Berlin III, as Bud, with Taylor Hanner and Julia Tephenhart sharing the role of Kathy. Other cast members include Grayson Clark, Jonathan Mahon, Becky and Emily Gray, Beverly Murtha, and Courtney Gregory. Also featured are Oswego Player’s veterans Norman Berlin Jr., Connie Brozenich, Sonia Lough Berlin, Ken Snow, and Karen Tephenhart.
Jennifer Snow will direct this production assisted by her sister Nicole Snow as Stage Manager.
The show is slated to be presented on September 12, 13, 19, and 20, at 8 p.m. and September 21 at 2 p.m. at the Frances Marion Brown Theater. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for Seniors and $7 for Students. Reservations can be made by calling the Oswego Players box office at 343-5138 or tickets can be purchased in person at the Downtown Box Office located in the Discover Oswego Shop in the Canal Commons in Downtown Oswego. Credit cards are accepted at this location only. “Father Knows Best” is presented by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing of Woodstock Illinois.
