Catholic Charities’ Family Fall Festival Set Saturday

FULTON, NY – Catholic Charities of Oswego County will host its first-ever Family Fall Festival Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Children of all ages are welcome to visit Catholic Charities’ newly remodeled CYO center for a day of family fun.

The Family Fun Festival will feature a variety of fall themed games and activities including: pumpkin bowling, pumpkin ring toss, a bounce house, and plenty of arts and crafts projects. Refreshments such as apple cider, donuts and popcorn will also be available. Children and their families will also have the opportunity to tour the CYO center and learn about the many programs and activities that CYO has to offer the youth of the community.

In addition to the games and activities there will be a bag auction and those in attendance may purchase tickets for a chance to win two drawings; one for a 26-inch VIZIO LCD / HD/TV with Wii Game Console with sports games, and one that includes four one-day Park Hopper Passes to Disney World in Orlando and one pair of Coach Certificates on AirTran Airways.

While there is no cost to attend Catholic Charities’ Family Fall Festival there will be nominal charge of only twenty-five cents for games and activities so that children will be able to have plenty of fun.

All proceeds will be used for the CYO program and the agency’s food pantry. Families are also welcome to bring food donations for pantry if they wish.

Catholic Charities of Oswego County serves all people in need regardless of their religious affiliation. Primary funding sources for Catholic Charities of Oswego County programs are the United Way of Greater Oswego County, the Diocesan Hope Appeal, the County of Oswego and private donations by individuals and local companies and organizations.
