FULTON, NY – With the holidays upon us, the Emergency Assistance Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County has announced that it is rapidly reaching its cut off point for accepting applications for Christmas meals.
The Food Pantry at Catholic Charities will continue accepting applications until Nov. 30 or until the availability has been exhausted.
Families interested in receiving a Christmas meal are urged to stop in and fill out an application as soon as possible.
Distribution of Christmas meals will be Dec. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Dec. 21 from 9 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Recipients will be able to visit Catholic Charities’ Client Choice Food Pantry and select the items their family would like to have for their holiday meal.
Those interested in applying must have proof of identity for everyone in the household as well as a piece of mail, dated within 30 days, with name and address for each adult in the household.
