OSWEGO, NY Ã¢â‚¬â€œ FriendlyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Restaurant in Oswego will help Catholic Charities of Oswego County Ã¢â‚¬ËœLick HungerÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ in our community when it hosts a very special FriendlyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Family Fun Night.
On March 3 FriendlyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s in Oswego will donate 10 percent of all sales between 5 and 8 p.m. to Catholic Charities of Oswego County.
General manager of FriendlyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Patrick Dewine said that the restaurant is happy to support Catholic Charities.
Ã¢â‚¬Å“FriendlyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s is committed to supporting our community. Hosting a Family Fun Night is a great way to bring community members together in support of a worthwhile cause. It also allows us to give something back to our community by helping our local non-profit organizations,Ã¢â‚¬Â he said.
Director of Catholic CharitiesÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ Emergency Services program Helen Hoefer is looking forward to the event.
Ã¢â‚¬Å“We are facing some very difficult times. Our food pantry and our other programs are experiencing a tremendous demand for our services. We truly appreciate FriendlyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s offer to host a Family Fun Night for us. I invite everyone to join us for some great food and support our efforts to Ã¢â‚¬ËœLick HungerÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ in Oswego County and continue our mission of helping families in need,Ã¢â‚¬Â she said.
Ten percent of all proceeds, whether eat-in or take-out, will be donated to Catholic Charities of Oswego County.
