Nearly 1,000 high school juniors and seniors are expected to visit Cayuga Community College Fulton Campus on October 25 for the annual Oswego County Guidance Associations’ College Fair.
The fair runs from 9 to 11 a.m. at the new campus, 11 River Glen Drive, Fulton.
More than 60 colleges and universities will send admissions representatives to meet with the high school students who come from the nine school districts in Oswego County.
For most attendees, it will be their first introduction to Cayuga’s new Fulton Campus facilities at River Glen.
“We’re pleased to be able to host this event in our beautiful new campus,” said Cayuga Admissions Director Bruce Blodgett. “Cayuga provides a high-quality and affordable education to Oswego County students. This is a terrific way to introduce ourselves to these students as well as to build stronger ties with our four-year partners—many of whom have established articulation agreements with us to help ease the transfer process for our students.”
This is the first time that Cayuga has had the space to host the fair.
The college moved its Fulton Campus academic programs into a completely redesigned two-story, 82,500 square foot facility in August.
Representatives from the various visiting colleges and universities will be set up on both the first and second floors.
The fair is sponsored by the Oswego County Guidance Association, an organization made up of high school guidance counselors from across the nine districts in the county.
