Cayuga CC hosts Family Fun With Feathered Friends

AUBURN, NY – The 12th Annual February Family Fun Day will be held noon to 3 p.m. on Feb. 5 in the Spartan Hall gymnasium at Cayuga Community College, 197 Franklin St., Auburn.

Children’s activities at the free public event will feature a bird theme.

Bring your camera for photo opportunities with birds of prey.

The event offers many interactive crafts, game, a bouncy house, face painting and tattoos.

Exhibitions and activities will be provided by Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H, Baltimore Woods Nature Center and Cedarcraft Wildbird Center.

Information will be available for Auburn Universal Pre-Kindergarten and registration will be taken for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a nonprofit organization that promotes early childhood literacy and fosters a love of reading in preschool children.

This family-friendly afternoon is sponsored by Cayuga Community College, the ACC/CCC Alumni Association, CCC Student Activities Board and Early childhood Club, Success By 6, the Seanna M. Donley Memorial Fund, and the Cayuga County Health Department.
