Cayuga/Auburn Community College Class of 1963 to hold 50th reunion

Members of the Auburn Community College Class of 1963 are planning to celebrate their 50th reunion the weekend of July 27-28 in Auburn.

An informal event will be held on July 27 at the Sunset Restaurant, 93 North Division Street, Auburn.

Classmates and their guests will meet at 6 p.m. to renew friendships and socialize. Dinner will follow for those who would like to share a meal.

On July 28, a table has been reserved in the Terrace Room at the Springside Inn, 6141 West Lake Road, Auburn, for Sunday brunch.

Reservations are requested for both events, but drop-ins are welcome.

Class members will pay for their meals individually, so no deposits are required. Enjoy the opportunity to visit with old classmates from 50 years ago and catch up on what they have been doing, their careers, their families, and the activities they are involved in.

Cayuga Community College is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2013 and is pleased that a 50th reunion has been planned.

The events have been organized by Class of ’63 secretary, Kay Benedict Sgarlata in association with the Auburn/Cayuga Community College Alumni Office.

Class members, even if unable to attend, are urged to share memories, photos, and personal updates with organizers.  Submissions are requested by July 22, and can be sent to Kay at [email protected] or 315-446-1723 or by contacting Louise or Mary in the alumni office at [email protected] or 315-255-1726 extension 2224 or 2454.
