The Auburn/Cayuga Community College Alumni Association is accepting reservations for a motorcoach trip to historic Gettysburg, Pa. Because of the popularity of this excursion, two trip dates are being offered. The first departs Friday, September 17, and returns Sunday, September 19, 2010. The second departs Friday, September24, and returns Sunday, September 26, 2010. Travel will originate at Cayugaâ€™s campuses in Auburn and Fulton for both trips. The group will be escorted by John Lamphere of the Cayuga history faculty on a guided tour including the Gettysburg Museum, historic sites throughout the National Military Park, and a sunset photo session at Little Round Top. This annual trip is open to the public. Cost per person, based on two people sharing a room, is $236 and includes round-trip transportation, museum and battlefield tours, two nightsâ€™ hotel stay with continental breakfast, Saturday dinner at a landmark restaurant, and admission to the Gettysburg Museum, Visitor Center and Cyclorama.
