Mark your calendar to celebrate the third annual Art in the Square at Abbott’s Lake Country Studios on U.S. Route 11 South in Central Square. This fine art and music festival takes place on Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Artisans will demonstrate and sell their work on the grounds of our studios,” said Kevin Abbott, co-owner of Abbott’s Lake Country Studios. “The classrooms will be open and our students’ artwork will be on display as well as photographs by the Oneida Lake Camera Club.”
Gypsy Red, a progressive folk band from Parish, will provide live music beginning at noon, followed by singer and songwriter Jonathan Coleman at 2:30 p.m. The Thousand Islands Winery will offer wine tasting from 1 to 4 p.m.
Admission is free for this event which runs concurrent with the first day of the 25th annual Apple Festival sponsored by Lioness Club of Central Square. The apple festival takes place at Goettel Community Park on U.S. Route 11 North in Central Square.
