ALTMAR – The Oswego County ATV Club continues to celebrate patriotism with a ride for wounded domestic and foreign war veterans.
Line-up for the ride begins at 9 a.m. on July 18 at the Tailwater Lodge on Pulaski Street in Altmar.
The group will travel along the scenic Barclay Trail to Kasoag Lake before returning to the clubhouse at 1939 Mexico St. in Altmar where each veteran and a guest will enjoy a free luncheon of Hoffman hotdogs, salad, chips and soda.
A variety of four-wheelers and side-by-side machines will be available as well as volunteer drivers.
These donations are made possible by club members and local ATV dealers including The Caprara Bros. Outdoor Toy Store in Pulaski and Wheel-A-Way Motorsports in Fulton.
The public is welcome to join in the celebration by bringing their ATVs to participate in the ride and stay for the luncheon for the charge of $3.
The luncheon is made possible in part with generous support from Stroehmann’s Bakery and Pepsi Cola in Syracuse.
