Celebrate Summer This July with the Oswego Players “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”

The Oswego Players are continuing an annual tradition of presenting a musical in July with their latest production “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. The play is truly a summer show presenting the adventures of Charlie Brown from the famous characters created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. The show is a light hearted musical comedy just perfect for a summer evening.

“You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”, with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, follows the gentle philosophy of the original strip by looking at the world through the eyes of children. The show features a likable score and easily understood plot that makes it enjoyable for all ages.

The cast of Oswego Player’s version of the show features Tyler Spicer, as Charlie Brown, Jeremy Edwards, as Snoopy, Molly Brown as Lucy, Richard Mosher, as Linus, Dan Williams, as Schroeder, and Jodi Castello, as Sally.

The production is under the direction of Oswego Players President, Inez Manor Parker, assisted by Bobby Fontana, as Stage Manager, Abel Searor as Music Director, Jennifer Belt-Patterson as Choreographer, Richard Mosher, as Light Designer, and Ken Snow and Norm Berlin on set design.
