On March 9th the American Red Cross kicked off its’ March is Red Cross month celebration with a “Celebrity Bartender” taking center stage at Green’s Ale House in Oswego. Chrystal Hoyt, a “local” celebrity, was the first to try her hand at bartending and raising money for the local Red Cross. Chrystal raised nearly $300 in tips in just a couple of hours that will go to support local Red Cross programs and services.

Greene’s Ale House has now partnered with the American Red Cross and will be hosting a “local celebrity” on the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30 – 8:00pm. Each month a new “face” will try their hand at bartending; joining with friends, family, coworkers and community members to support the local Red Cross with their tips going to the American Red Cross. Everyone is invited and welcome to come out and support your favorite bartender and the local American Red Cross.

On April 13, 2010 Bob Bateman of Cakes Galore will be on hand to serve ‘em up, Hans Storsberg will be providing the music, and everyone is invited to stop by and help Bob help the Red Cross.
