Central Square Soldier graduates Military Police School

LATHAM, NY – Major General Patrick A. Murphy, The Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the completion of training for members of the Army National Guard. The military training was conducted at Camp Smith, N.Y. by the 106th Regional Training Institute.

Spec. Adam Radziseski, of Central Square, serving with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, graduated from the four-week New York Army National Guard course to become a Military Police officer on August 15.

The course focused military and civil law and jurisdiction, investigating and collecting evidence techniques, traffic and crowd control and suspect arrest and restraint procedures.

Graduates will also be prepared to support military operations by conducting security, internment and resettlement of civilians, provide law and order to include criminal investigations and confinement of U.S. military prisoners and conduct police intelligence operations.
