SYRACUSE – On Sunday, March 24, South State Street will be closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles between East Adams Street and Harrison Street from 5:30 a.m. to approximately noon due to the Syracuse Half Marathon.
All South State Street boarding and alighting will be moved to the Transit Hub or to South State Street and East Washington Street during this time.
The following Outbound routes will detour as follows upon exiting the Hub:
36 W. Genesee Street – Camillus Commons
236 Auburn – Syracuse via Skaneateles
246 Oswego – Syracuse via Fulton – Phoenix
48 Liverpool – Morgan Road
From E. Adams St and S. State St
Continue E. Adams St to S. Townsend St
Left on S. Townsend St
Left on E. Washington St to regular route
The race will also involve moving detours that may affect service along the course.
Court Street will remain open to traffic, however passengers will need to board in the roadway as the curb lane will be coned off for runners.
