Change Your Clocks and Check Smoke, Carbon Monoxide Detectors

OSWEGO, NY – With the return to daylight saving time this weekend, the Oswego Fire Department would like to remind everyone to replace the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

It has been proven time after time that smoke and carbon monoxide detectors save lives and this simple act of replacing the batteries helps make sure that all are in proper operating order.

We also ask you to check on elderly friends, neighbors and relatives to be sure that that this is done in their residences.
