Charlene E. Dean, 74, of Fulton died Thursday at home after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Wesley and Thelma Sikes Raymond. Charlene was a graduate of Fulton High School class of 1952. She was a very active member of State Street United Methodist Church, where she served as custodian, captain of the Bessie Rich Circle and coordinated church dinners and luncheons for many years. Charlene was a faithful servant of the Lord.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Edward Dean of Fulton; her five children, Wayne Dean, Cherylann Dean, Darrell Dean, Felicia (Bill) Viscome and Wesley (Kathy) Dean all of Fulton; a brother, Leroy (Nancy) Raymond of Palermo; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at State Street United Methodist Church, 357 State Street, Fulton with burial at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
