OSWEGO, NY – Charles E. Harris, 88, of Seneca Hill, Oswego, died Friday morning November 29, 2013, in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
Mr. Harris was born in Fulton the son of the late Charles and Ethel (Wells) Harris.
Mr. Harris owned and operated Harris Drywell in Oswego for many years until his retirement in 1997.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Suzanne Monroe, in 1998; his brothers, Ward Harris and Vern Harris; and his sister, Evelyn Woodard.
He is survived by his wife, Madalyn A. Harris of Seneca Hill, Oswego; his daughter, Roxanne Falise of Colorado; son-in-law, Phil Falise of Colorado; sisters, Madalon Howland of Oswego and Charlotte Porter of Fulton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mr. Harris’s life will be held Saturday from 3 – 6 p.m. at Mimi’s in Fulton.
