Charles L. Kranze, 53, of Fulton, passed away Saturday.
He was born in Fulton on September 23, 1958 to Charles W. and Marilyn Brackett Kranze.
Chuck was a native of Hannibal and had resided at Michaud Health Services in Fulton for the past 26 years due to injuries sustained in an auto accident in December of 1984.
He was last employed by the Carpenters Union as a welder and also owned Hannibal Excavating.
Chuck was a member of the Hannibal United Methodist Church, Hannibal Sons of the American Legion and the Carpenters Union #747.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Lucille Kranze and his maternal grandparents, Levi and Marjorie Brackett.
Chuck is survived by his parents, Charles W. and Marilyn Brackett Kranze of Hannibal; his son, Derek and his fiancée Kelsey Florek of Fulton; brother, Keith (Michelle Shutts) Kranze of Hannibal; sister, Kathleen (John) Million of Lake Placid, NY; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Chuck’s family would like to thank the staff at Michaud Health Services and the former Michaud Nursing Home for the many years of compassionate care given to Chuck.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal. Spring burial will be in Hannibal Village Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
