FULTON, NY – Chester T. Hoffman Sr., 72, of Fulton, died Friday June 8, 2018, in Oswego Hospital.

Mr. Hoffman was born in Auburn, the son of the late Chester and Rose (Hosier) Hoffman.

He was a truck driver for Fulton Iron & Steel for many years, prior to that he worked for Rodger Dairy Farm, Elmer Taylor’s Dairy Farm and Darrel Paper Bag’s in Florida.

He was a former volunteer with the Volney Fire Department.

Mr. Hoffman enjoyed playing cards, bingo, dice, coloring and watching the races.

He is survived by his children, Diane (Greg) Tyler of Lyons, Brenda (Robert) Hoffman of Savannah, Chester Hoffman Jr. of Oswego, Mary (Richard) Bardin of Hannibal, Dustin (Kay) Hoffman of Fulton and Tammy (Mike) Allen of Clyde; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Ina Ward, Sam Hoffman, Ella Ward and Rose Graves.

Calling hours will be Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc. 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.

Burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery.

    R.i.p Chester u were the sweets guy I ever new I miss are dranking coffee in the morning together and are talks we had.

    you will be missed. I remember talking to you all the time at the salvation army and the church dinners. It time to rest after all the medical problems that you had.

    So sorry. For your. Lost he was a great fella loved to smile an joke a lot. An enjoyed bingo an visting friends. He loved Dustin ?was so proud to show him off. Fly high my. Friend est in piece!!!
