Child Abuse Recognition & Reporting Class Offered Through Distance Learning

The Oswego County BOCES Distance Learning Program, in conjunction with OnondagaCommunity College, is offering a course on Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting on Tuesday, October 4th from 5:30-7:45 p.m. in the Distance Learning Rooms atCentral Square’sPaulV. Moore High School, room #1236 with Sue Parsnow­ and in Phoenix’ J.C. Birdlebough High School room #176 with Kathy Lathrop.

In just over two hours, fulfill yourNew YorkState license requirements. OCC is certified by the New York State Education Department to provide child abuse recognition and reporting training for professionals who have to apply for or renew their licenses afterJanuary 1, 1991. Gain critical information about child abuse/maltreatment identification and reporting, behavioral indicators, as well as social-service law and other mandates.  Cost of the program is $39.00. All necessary forms, which are evidence of completion, are provided at the end of the class Registration forms are available on the Oswego County BOCES web site at:
