Chiropractic Day Supports Youth Programming At The YMCA


OSWEGO, NY – Feeling good can lead to doing good things.

On April 25, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Licatese Chiropractic will host a special patient appreciation day in support of Youth Programming at the Oswego YMCA.

Dr. Anthony Licatese, Dr. Ryan Barker and Dr. Beth J. Dubois will offer chiropractic treatments for current and former patients, as well as examinations for new patients, for $20 at their office at 55 E. Bridge St.

Participants may walk-in or call the office at 342-6300 to schedule an appointment.

Proceeds will go directly toward supporting the Oswego YMCA’s Youth Splash and Dash training program.

There are 25 children, ages 8-15 participating in the Oswego YMCA’s 10-week Youth Splash and Dash training program that started last week.

“Our Y Splash and Dash training program is designed to develop kids into physically strong kids of strong character through the positive, healthy and fun experience of learning and improving swimming and running skills,” said Trish Levine, director of health and wellness at the Y.

Participants are encouraged to take part in the Tri Oswego Splash and Dash event which will be held on June 20.

All Y training program participants receive a training tee shirt, swim cap, water bottle and a $5 discount on the Tri Oswego event registration.

With more than 1,600 members, one in nine people living in the Oswego community is a member of Oswego YMCA.

Daily, members find the support and services they need to improve their quality of life.

The Oswego YMCA serves as a community resource providing programs including a variety of Aquatics programs and Swim Lessons, Youth, Adult and Family Fitness, Active Older Adult with Silver & Fit and Silver Sneakers opportunities, School Age Childcare, Summer Camp, Parents Night Out, Kids Zumba, Stroller Strong, and parent and child programs including Move & Groove, Splash & Play.
