Christian Unity Supper Planned May 12

FULTON, NY – The annual Christian Unity Supper, sponsored by the Greater Fulton Area Council of Christian Churches, will be held on May 12 at First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St., starting at 6 p.m.

Those in attendance are asked to bring a dish to pass and table service.

Hot and cold beverages and a dessert, will be provided by First United.

Everyone is welcome.

This year’s program will feature Ralph Singh, chair and chief executive officer of Wisdom Thinkers Network that has as its stated mission:

We believe that stories have the power to change the world – and by reweaving the wisdom of our traditional stories, both sacred and secular, and new understandings into education and public life we will be able to  strengthen our social fabric and foster a more compassionate, inclusive, civil society.

The evening will also feature words of farewell to four clergy who are moving out of their pastoral positions in the greater Fulton community: Rev. Ann Wichelns, Rev. Rick Klafehn, Rev. Marion Moore-Colgan and Rev. David Nethercott.
