The community moved one step closer toward realizing a newly renovated outpatient center in the city of Fulton as Oswego Health officially purchased the former A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital building, which now becomes known as the Fulton Medical Center.
This acquisition, which occurred on December 15, also included the purchase of the Phoenix Health Services Center, located at 7 Bridge Street in Phoenix.
Since April 2009, Oswego Health has been leasing both buildings. The services provided by Oswego Health at the Fulton location include urgent care, medical imaging and laboratory services. In Phoenix, the health system will continue to offer comprehensive primary care services.

Gilpin. “I am excited to now move forward with our complete renovation of the Fulton Medical Center, where we will enhance the medical services already offered there and develop additional medical office space for physicians.” Once construction is complete, the Urgent Care Center will feature nine private patient rooms, while an expanded medical imaging department will include a separate area for women who need a mammogram, sonogram or bone density test. In addition, a three-station lab draw area will be built.
