Gang Assault in the Second Degree is when, with intent to cause physical injury to another person and when aided by two or more other persons actually present, the suspect causes serious physical injury to such person or to a third person.

The charge of Gang Assault does not indicate that the arrested parties are in anyway affiliated with what is commonly referred to as a “street gang,” police pointed out.

Police said today (Sept, 11) that the three men are alleged to have acted together on Aug. 28 at approximately 2:14 a.m. near the intersection of Liberty and West Mohawk streets in the city of Oswego.
