SCRIBA, NY – Clarence ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œBobÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â Dorval, 61, a resident of County Route 4 in the Town of Scriba, passed away Tuesday Aug. 5, 2008, at the VA Hospital in Syracuse.
Mr. Dorval was born in Oswego, the son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Jones) Dorval.
He was a life resident.
He served for four years in the US Navy on the USS Gyatt.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Dorval was employed with the Northern Steel Co. for 26 years.
He was a member of the Ironworkers Union.
Mr. Dorval loved the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marsha (Tonkin) Dorval; two sons, Randy (Holly) Dorval of Oswego, and Scott (Tessa) Dorval of Vermont; a sister, Shirley (Gerald) Galletta of Minetto; a brother, Thomas (Oralee) Dorval of Fulton; two grandchildren, David and Jade; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, in PeckÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Cemetery, Scriba, and the Rev. George Wurz will officiate.
There will be no calling hours.
