</p>Claude Davis, Jr.Claude Davis, Jr., 76 of Oswego, passed away Friday at Oswego Hospital.

Born in New Haven, he was a life resident of the area. Claude retired in 1991 from Alcan Rolled Products, after 19 years. He previously served in the Army for 20 years and retired as a Staff Sergeant. His tour included Korea and Vietnam and was stationed in Japan. Claude was a member of The Church of the Nazarene, and served as a board member and Missionary president for several years.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kazu Miura Davis of Oswego; a son, Jack (Karen) Davis of LaFargeville; three daughters, Chris (Bill) Lighthall of Mexico, Ginny Davis of Oswego, Lisa (Phil) Krey of Conklin; six grandchildren, Adam, Amy, Bethany, Brittany, Alicia and Devon; two great-grandchildren, Amanda and Luke.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at The Church of the Nazarene, 914 Utica St., Fulton. Burial at Peck Cemetery, Scriba. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Memorial contributions may be made to The Church of the Nazarene c/o Missions Fund, 914 Utica St., Fulton, 13069.

  1. I have known the family for a very long time and Mr. Davis has always been the kindest and very friendly person. He will be greatly missed by many people.

  2. Claude was the nicest person to me he always put a smile on my face whenever I seen him. I will miss seeing him.
