Clifford A. Dingman, 93

OSWEGO, NY – Clifford A. Dingman, 93, a resident of Simeon Dewitt Apartments in Oswego, died Saturday Jan. 2, 2010, at Loretto Heights Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Minetto and was the husband of the late Lilla Sloper Dingman.

Mr. Dingman had been employed for many years as the yard foreman at T.J. Burke Lumber Co.

He was an active member of the Salvation Army and a member of Fulton Senior Chorus.

He enjoyed playing the guitar and calling square dance.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas Dingman of Johnsonville and David Dingman of Fulton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a son, Robert Dingman.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Sunday Jan. 10, at the Salvation Army Citadel 75 W. Second St.

Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
