Clive F. Williams, 69, of Fuller Rd., Central Square, NY, passed away Wednesday December 21, 2011, after complications with his lung transplant. After an eight month battle, it was time for him to be in God’s Hands.
Clive was born to his late parents, Manford G. and Dora Mae (Williams) Williams on October 11, 1942. Clive was the owner/operator of C. M. Williams Co., Central Square.
He was a member of Christian Community Church, Central Square; the Stave Mill Hunting Assoc. ; and 25 Sportsman Club. An avid fisherman, he spent time with his brother, Louie, and those special moments with his five grandchildren. He spent countless hours restoring a 1968 Ford Mustang and a 1963 Ford Falcon. That was his passion, and he will be so deeply missed by his family and his friends.
Predeceased by his six brothers, and three sisters.
Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, the former Cynthia M. McKee; two sons and their spouses, Daniel F. and Michelle Williams of Pennellville, Douglas L. and Heather Williams of Central Square; two brothers, La Vern Williams and Louie and Connie Williams all of Pennellville; one sister, Tamsie (Gene) Wolfe of Central Square; five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lauren, Justin, Alleecia, and Kayla; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Thursday December 29, from 4 to 7 pm at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135. Spring graveside service will be at the convenience of the family.
