From Broadway (Phantom of the Opera, Godspell, and Rent) to the silver screen (Grease 2, Neptune’s Daughter, and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas) to hits at the top of the charts from Green Day, The Carpenters, The Beatles, and The Mamas and the Papas, CNY Arts Center is presenting an intimate evening cabaret along with taste-tempting desserts and handmade original art and gift raffles, March 2 at 8 p.m. in its new facility located in State Street UMC, 357 State St. in Fulton; use the Park Street entrance.

“We’re bringing together familiar faces, too, seen on stage at CNY Arts Center in this debut season,” said director Marguerite Beebe. “We presented two outstanding productions in the first six months, including a premiere of a brand new work. We’re continuing to use our talents to support the work of CNY Arts Center with this fundraiser.”

“I love doing this for CNY Arts Center.  What they are trying to do is so wonderful,” Beebe continued. “With the arts being the first thing cut from schools they are providing another outlet for children and adults to participate in the arts. It truly is an amazing organization.”

CNY Arts Center is promising a full year – all four seasons – of events and programming for the community along with new events and art opportunities for artists of all ages.

This fundraiser will support programming as the organization continues to generate an economic impact in the region.
