Taking a stand

Kyra Baker as Fern and Ben Norton as Wilbur rehearse a scene from Charlotte’s Web, CNY Arts Center’s next Kids Onstage production.

More than 30 children will tell the beloved tale of Wilbur, the little pig, being saved by an unlikely hero, Charlotte, the spider.

The classic story originally written by E. B. White is adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette and presented by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing.

The full-length play will run Aug 16 at 7 p.m., Aug 17 and 18 at 2 p.m. at CNY Arts Center, 357 State St., in Fulton.
