OSWEGO, NY – If there’s not an app for that, Eric Hinman can create one.
Hinman, co-founder of Syracuse-based mobile marketing company AppFury, will be guest speaker at the April meeting of the Professional Journalists and Communicators of Oswego County.
A 2002 graduate of SUNY Geneseo, Hinman has appeared in the Wall Street Journal and the CNY Business Journal and presented at Syracuse University about mobile marketing.
AppFury earned “New and Noteworthy” status in the Apple digital store and national press for its debut SOHOinmypocket app.
At the PJC meeting, Hinman will discuss the latest developments in mobile technology, how to utilize it, and what the future holds for this communication tool.
“I invite interested community members to join us and learn about what goes into mobile application development and how the powerful technology is shaping the communications field from a local entrepreneurial success story,” PJC President Michele Reed said.
PJC welcomes Hinman to the meeting 5 p.m. April 28 at Bridie Manor.
The PJC meeting is open to the public.
There is an admission fee of $12 for PJC members and $15 for non-members and includes refreshments.
