A roundup of how Oswego County athletes are doing at area colleges:

Mexico grad Abby Smith had a great game for SUNY Brockport Saturday, scoring two goals in a 4-0 win over SUNY Potsdam.

Utica College took a 1-0 field hockey win over Stevens on Saturday.  Oswego grad Monica Storms stopped 7 shots in goal for the shutout win, her third of the year.

Mexico’s Ben Ariola put in the game winner in the 89th minute to give Geneseo a 2-1 win over Potsdam Friday.

Fulton’s Erin Hudson finished 39th at the UB Stampede Invitational on Sept. 18, helping LeMoyne’s women to a sixth place finish.  Mexico’s Evan Oustrich was 40th for the Dolphin men, who finished seventh.

Phoenix grad Alex Hayes rushed the QB in Brockport’s win over Western Connecticut, hurrying the QB into an intentional grounding call that helped Brockport to a 35-23 win.

Fulton’s Joe Shue was nearly all of the offense for Morrisville State in its 42-6 loss to nationally ranked Montclair State Saturday.  Shue was 12 of 25 for 87 yards, as the offense gained only 104 yards.

Eliza Parker of Oswego was third for Alfred University’s women’s cross country team at this past weekend’s Houghton Highlander Invitational.  She took 52nd place.

Those are the ones we found.  If you know of other local athletes performing at colleges, post information and links in the comments below.
