The greater Fulton community is invited to participate in Sunday worship on September 1 at 10:30a.m. at Fulton’s downtown Gazebo.
The service is sponsored by three congregations: Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, State Street United Methodist Church, and First United Church of Fulton.
The service will include communion.
Everyone is invited to bring a food offering for the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
The Reverend Marion M. Moore-Colgan of State Street United Methodist Church will bring the message.
A combined choir, directed by Cindy MacDougall, will rehearse the anthem at 10 a.m.
The Reverend Anne Wichelns of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will give primary leadership in the serving of communion.
Communion is open to all who confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
The Reverend David Nethercott of First United Church of Fulton will also be assisting in the leadership of the service.
Coffee, cookies, and cold drinks will be shared following the service.
It is recommended that you bring your own lawn chair.
In case of inclement weather, the service will take place at an alternative site (First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St., Fulton).
Each congregation directly engaged in presenting this worship service is an active member of The Greater Fulton Area Council of Christian Churches.
The Council of Churches hosts a number of shared events each year including the 27th annual Fulton Crop Walk scheduled for October 6.
