FULTON – A Community Services Forum will be held Wednesday, November 14, at Catholic Charities in Fulton.
Set up begins at 8 a.m., the event opens to the public at 9 a.m. and runs until noon.
“The purpose of the Oswego County Community Services Forum is to allow community members and working professionals an opportunity to discover, learn about and network with the different agencies and their staffs who provide different types of youth and human services and programming in our county,” Kristine Slimmer of the Youth Bureau told Oswego County Today. “This event has been an annual one for many years. This year is the biggest in its history. We have more than 50 agencies/programs that will be in attendance.”
Representatives of more than four dozen human services agencies from Oswego County (and Syracuse) will share information about programs available to youth and families.
Among the agencies expected to participate in the forum are: Oswego YMCA (342-6082), County of Oswego Council on Alcoholism and Addictins (342-2370 or 598-6707), Farnham Family Services (342-4489 or 593-0796), AmeriCorps / Youth Bureau (349-3451), DSS (963-5445), ARISE (342-4088), and the United Way (593-1900) as well as area police agencies and several others.
