Community Unites at Annual APW Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Dinner

The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Student Government Club hosted the 27th Annual Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Dinner at the APW Junior/Senior High School Cafeteria. Students, including Jenna Brockett above, served a traditional Thanksgiving fare that included turkey, all of the fixings and homemade pie to senior citizens in the APW community. The dinner which was free for area senior citizens was made possible through community, staff and student donations and was prepared cooperatively by APW Student Government Club members, student volunteers and the APW Food Service staff. Adding to the ambiance of the much anticipated annual event was the student artwork that adorned the walls and tables and the musical interludes from APW musicians.
