‘Sound of Music’ Is the Theme of Senior Camping at Camp Hollis, June 6 and 7

OSWEGO – Camp Hollis will be alive with the sounds of music and laughter Monday and Tuesday, June 6 and 7, at the annual Senior Camping program for people 50 years young and older.

This year’s theme is “The Sound of Music.” Visitors should plan to enjoy nature programs, hikes, arts and crafts, sports, bingo, dancing, a bonfire, guest speakers, sing-a-longs, and great food. Accordionist Paul Riley of Williamstown will perform Tuesday afternoon.

This summer marks the 21st year that the Oswego County children’s camp on Lake Ontario has hosted a senior camping program. Senior camping begins at 9 a.m. Monday, June 6 and closes at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 7. Seniors may sign up for the day or enjoy an overnight camping experience.
