4 Dentists Join Northeast Dental Group, LLC

Drs. Daniel Dufera, Scott Shallish, James Jang, and Michael Adsit have joined Northeast Dental Group, LLC (NDG) to practice general dentistry, it was announced by David M. Botty, NDG director of operations.

“We are delighted to welcome each of these doctors to our family of professionals,” Botty said. “Each has expressed his enthusiasm for practicing with our group. Dr. Dufera is at our Cicero office and Drs. Shallish, Jang and Adsit are at our Fulton office.”

Dr. Dufera most recently practiced at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, and holds degrees as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland Dental School.

Dr. Shallish was at Long Island College Hospital before joining NDG and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He has also done volunteer dental work in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

Dr. Jang earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles  (UCLA) and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the New York University College of Dentistry.

Dr. Adsit earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from SUNY Buffalo and volunteers to provide basic dental care in third world countries. Among these are Guatemala, Ghana and Honduras .

NDG general dentistry offices include: Canalview Dental Associates, Fulton; Cicero Dental Associates, and Central Square Dental Associates.

“NDG is one of the fastest growing dental groups in the northeast,” Botty said. “Our professional staff is growing and we are planning additional office locations throughout upstate New York. NDG accepts most insurance plans and Medicaid patients.”
