The city of Fulton employees have partnered with Catholic Charities of Oswego County for the fourth annual city of Fulton employees’ golf tournament fundraiser. The event will be held July 26, at Emerald Crest Golf Course, Palermo.
“The event includes a money hole, putting contest, a 50/50 raffle, and door prizes. Hot dogs and beer will be offered at the turn, and appetizers include beef, chicken, seafood and all the fixings,” said Tom Schimpff, event chairman.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Catholic Charities of Oswego County. “Money will be used to support the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) at Catholic Charities, and will help to purchase food at Thanksgiving and Christmas times for local families in need,” said Mary Margaret Pezzella-Pekow, Executive Director of Oswego County Catholic Charities.
“The Catholic Charities mission is dedicated to caring for those in need while promoting human development, collaboration, and the elimination of poverty and injustice,” Pezzella-Pekow said. “The CYO program at Catholic Charities provides youth the opportunity to interact with their peers, establish new friendships and give back to their communities in a safe and friendly environment.”
