AmeriCorps Member aids Food Pantry

Oswego, NY – Helen Hoefer (left), supervisor of Community Services at Catholic Charities of Oswego County, accepts a donation of fresh vegetables from Heath Murray and AmeriCorps member Jenna Skubis for the agency’s food pantry.
Skubis is a participant in the Fulton Community Garden project.
Established through the collaborative efforts of the nutrition Coalition of Oswego County, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County, and the city of Fulton, the community garden project is providing Fulton residents with the opportunity to enjoy fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers right from their own garden.
