AmeriCorps Member Speaks To Rotary

FULTON – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, our guest, Vanessa Langdon, told us about her recent experience with AmeriCorps.
Langdon spent 10 months in the Southwest region and some of the projects included cleaning up after the flooding in Louisiana, preparing income taxes in Missouri and traveling throughout Arkansas working at human development centers.
Langdon won the Bronze Award for that region, having completed more than 1,800 hours.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Mimi’s.
