FULTON, NY – Jim Smiley, director Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s CYO Program (left) and Stacie Roberts, coordinator of the CYO Mentoring Program (right), present Susan Lippke, Oswego AmeriCorps program assistant, with a certificate in recognition of AmeriCorps’ support for the CYO Mentoring Program.
The program matches elementary school children with high school students and provides them with peer support and a positive role model.
Mentors provide friendship, guidance, and support through one on one time and group activities.
