Care and Handling of Baby Chicks at the Oswego Public Library

OSWEGO – Baby chicks return to the Oswego Public Library on April 3!
Join a Care and Handling of Chicks session at 11:00–11:45 AM or 1:00–1:45 PM to learn about the chicks, what hens they’ll become, and safe handling. Afterward, you’ll have a chance to hold one of our chicks.
If you are interested in adoption, please attend one of the sessions to talk with a library staff member about the process. Caring for backyard chickens in Oswego will also be discussed.
This is a perfect opportunity for adorable Easter photos. Bring friends or family and meet our feathered friends!
The event will take place on the library’s main floor, near the study rooms in the back of the building, at 120 E 2nd Street, Oswego, NY 13126. All ages are welcome to attend, and admission is free.
