Pediatric Stroke Awareness Night

FULTON ~The Dilyn Caza Fund for Pediatric Stroke & Support was established at the Upstate Foundation to support ongoing staff and community awareness campaigns around pediatric stroke, as well as support pediatric patients with financial support for unmet needs. This fund was established in honor of Dilyn Caza, who was treated for a stroke in March of 2024. Through Dilyn’s experience, it has driven Dilyn’s family to want to give back to other children who are going through what Dilyn did.

~Dilyn is a senior and on the Varsity Girls Soccer Team.

~In our region funds will directly benefit the health of patients at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital and 100% of all funds raised remain local.

~Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital offers a full spectrum of primary and specialized medical care for their littlest pediatric patients. As part of Upstate Medical University, Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital is dedicated to providing the highest level of care as the region’s only Level I trauma and burn center. Upstate offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth to 19 years of age in a 22-county region of Upstate New York.

~The Caza family is seeking support from our community for this year’s fundraising. We hope that you will consider joining in our efforts to support the patients and families at the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital by making a monetary gift.

~Thank you in advance for your consideration of their efforts. If you have any questions at all, you may reach Desiree Caza at (315) 529-8714 or Danielle Bright at [email protected].

Your support makes a difference.
