Survey Calls for Feedback from Residents on the North Shore of Oneida Lake

OSWEGO COUNTY – The North Shore Council of Governments asks residents of Central Square, West Monroe, Constantia and Cleveland for feedback on putting together a regional guide which will highlight the communities along the north shore of Oneida Lake.

 

Council members developed an online survey to get public input on what should be included in the guide. Go to this link[1]to participate.

 

The guide aims to showcase local parks, outdoor assets, cultural features, events, scenic locations and visitor-friendly activities. Survey participants will help identify these places and the experiences that best represent their community.

 

Topics include community identity and character; outdoor recreation and natural features; history, heritage and local landmarks; community events and activities; arts, culture and wellness; food, drink and local businesses; and “must see” spots.

 

The North Shore Council of Governments is a collaborative organization made up of towns and villages along the north shore of Oneida Lake that work together on projects of mutual interest. Key areas include economic development, tourism and water and sewer infrastructure.
