SCRIBA, NY – The Scriba Christmas Project has completed another successful season.
For 2015, the project provided food and toys for 56 families (195 people, including 80 children) and small remembrances delivered to 90 senior (80 years and older) “Scriba Treasures.”
As always, the project volunteers directed the generosity of local individuals, organizations and businesses to help the less fortunate in the town.

Examples of that are pictured:
Mary Powers, owner of The Country Cabin, gathered numerous donations of food and toys from customers through her business and forwarded them to Scriba Christmas.
The Scriba Volunteer Fire Corporation donated $1,000 to the project’s effort.
Additionally the Fire Department’s Santa Run around Scriba Town (Andy Krul and Derek Noyes pictured) gathered many non-perishable food items, which were then given to the project.
