OSWEGO, NY – The Veterans’ Stage on West Linear Park in downtown Oswego will be swinging on July 16 when the Anthony Joseph Swingtet takes the stage at 7 p.m. for the second in the free Summer Concert Series sponsored by the city of Oswego and presented by the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.

Especially popular among jazz enthusiasts who appreciate the refreshing new energy that the group brings to various classic jazz standards and ballads that have stood the test of time, the group provides the listener with a ‘swingin’ sound that is smooth, sweet and in the groove.
The group features Anthony Joseph on clarinet and vocals; Bill Palange on trombone; Joe Ferlo on guitar; Mike Solazzo playing upright bass; and drummer Jimmy Johns. Special guest vocalist Hannah Martin from Hannibal High School will join them for a few numbers as well.
Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket for seating and enjoy a night of great music on the banks of the Oswego River.
The final concert of the 2013 Summer Concert Series will feature the Do-Good Swing Band at 7 p.m. on August 20.
