APW Central School District Gives Update On Absentee Ballots

ALTMAR-PARISH-WILLIAMSTOWN – The APW Central School District has released the following update to the district’s voting process.

Yesterday, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a new executive order which provides an extension of the timeline for district’s to receive absentee ballots. The new order allows for the following:

• Absentee ballots may be received by mail or hand-delivered to the district clerk at our district office by 5 p.m. on June 9.

-or-

• Absentee ballots may be received by mail in the office of the district clerk no later than June 16.

In other words, if you do not return your absentee ballots by mail or in person by tomorrow at 5 p.m., the only way to return your absentee ballots is by placing them in the mail.

All absentee ballots will be opened on June 16 after 5 p.m.
